About My Webdesign

At the University of Advancing Technology I studied Interface Design, Color Theory and several programs/languages for making interfaces (HTML, Flash, Director, etc). Since then I have learned many more (ASP, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, SQL database). I have many website templates that I can use to keep costs low, or I can design a custom website just for you.

I hand-code everything, and am obsessive about my code being neat. Not only for my own neat-freaky-ness, but it also saves load time on larger pages. I use Dreamweaver, but rarely allow it to write the code itself. As stated above, I can use either ASP or PHP depending on your needs, and I can use either tables or CSS for layout if you have a preference.

Webdesign is the core of my specialty. Everything else I do is to direct people to or enhance your website. No matter if it's a large 200+ page site , or a simple half-dozen page site like Aunty Saro's Kitchen, your website is your identity online, and I'd love to help you make it the best it can be!

No Bull Mortgage

I designed this entire site. I've been working on it, updating it and redesigning it since 2003. www.NoBullMortgage.com is a very large website with over 200 pages. It includes CSS, ASP, Flash and animated GIFs. The back-end site for team members also utilizes an MsSQL database. I also do the search engine, email and Craig's List marketing for No Bull Mortgage.

Aunty Saro's Kitchen

This site uses CSS and PHP code, and has a customized shopping cart. (Plus the best curry you'll find anywhere!)

Pria Ministries

This site uses CSS and ASP code. I recently added a basic photo gallery. I set up a secure ASP page for the client to email a newsletter to their opt-in mailing list. There is also a donation form that uses ASP for calculations.

Association of Adventist Women

I recently took over as webmaster of this website. I work alongside a ASPX programmer who programs the signup forms and database pages for me. Some pages are under construction awaiting content from the client. The site was originally designed using Macromedia Fireworks.

My Portfolio

I redesigned my portfolio (finally) in late 2006. I used Photoshop for the graphics, Flash for the animation and navigation and CSS and PHP for coding.
