Ok… I’ll admit it… I make databases for fun.

I made a database to share my favorite recipes with my friends and family. I made a CRM database to handle my personal and professional contacts, which includes a time-tracking function, invoices, expenses, groups and a page to total and average this year’s and last year’s income. I really geeked out on that one!

My favorite is MySQL, but I can also design in MS SQL and ACT! Whenever designing a custom website, I look for ways to simplify the design and maintenance of the site using a database. And when I’m working with WordPress I can tap into the database in ways that you don’t normally see in WordPress-based sites.
