Liz Rickaby

I graduated from the University of Advancing Technology in 2001 with a BA in Multimedia, specializing in digital animation. While my specialty is in animation, I took many interface design classes, specifically in HTML and Flash. Since then I have made many websites using HTML, ASP, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Flash and ImageReady. I use Dreamweaver, but I hand-code all of my work, because I feel that the code should look as good as the page.

I’ve been working in web design professionally for many years now, creating websites. In addition to web design I also create and maintain databases (ACT! and SQL) and design and run marketing campaigns (including e-mail and tree-mail materials).

Personally… I got married in 1998 to Matt, who shares my passion for design and we have two unique children! We own a beautiful home north of Seattle, WA where I am a work-at-home-mom, and in my “free” time I basically do this… design websites. I often say to people that if I had a million dollars and didn’t have to work, THIS is what I would do!
